[Accidental Voice]

[Over the journals can be heard two voices, one male and one female. The male is not someone anyone here would know, the female might be familiar.]

Well, you seem to remember more than I do! [Siiiiiigh.] Go find someone and figure it out!

[Sighs also] But where do I find someone? You're the first person I've seen!

Well go look for someone! I ( Read more... )

[Well, this is different. Sounds like New Feathers. Guess they ran into each other. Deciding to help them, he picks up his journal and speaks.]

Hello? Can you hear me? Do you require assistance?

[And since Ephraim isn't quite aware of the journal having broadcast his conversation with the girl, he's going to be surprised and think this is someone nearby.] Hey, where are you? Can you tell me where we can find some clothing?

Yes. I can answer many of your questions. Do you have or see a book in your possession? It should have your name on it. I am speaking to you through that, and that will be how you can speak back to me.

As for clothing, I take it you are not near the village. Unfortunately, I cannot help you with that until you reach it. Could you describe your surroundings?

[Yeah, he did see that book earlier. He was a bit wary of it since he really dislikes books a lot. But carrying the girl isn't exactly allowing him to actually grab the journal without dropping her, so he's going to just note that for later and deal with the immediate issue of lack of shoes and decent clothing.] A lot of trees, probably a forest? Not one either of us has seen though.

That's pretty gentlemanly of you.

[More voices? And still no one he recognizes.] I can't just leave her there, what if someone attacks her?

Good point. [especially with the nasty rumors lately] Can't be fun to carry someone around barefoot, though. You need some help?

Some shoes would be helpful so she can actually walk. I'll be fine until I can figure out what happened to mine.

No shoes? That can be a real problem.

[Well, he's starting to get used to all the weird voices now at least.] It's not like me to run afoul of clothing thieves either. Is that common for this area, whatever this area is?

I'm...not really an expert on this place. I think so. I didn't have my shoes when I arrived, either.

Can you at least tell me where here is by chance?

[Whoa two voices.] Um, are you lost?

[And obviously not belonging to the same person too.] I admit to not being familiar with this woods, which is strange. But two people gave me directions to the nearest village and I should be fine.

Oh, that's good! [She claps her hands together before continuing-] It's pretty easy to get lost in a forest, and it was raining earlier, after all.

Yeah, I noticed that. [Yeah, thanks Malnosso, drop him off with little clothing, no shoes and near someone who doesn't even know her name.]

[And there with Ephraim is... someone. She has no idea who.]

What a bunch of unhelpful people. Directions, that's all they give us!

One did offer assistance, but I'm not going to ask a woman to come out and help us.

You should have told her to come anyway. Put me down, I want to walk.

[He'll put her down.] Will you be all right with no shoes then?
