the daily farm

About midnight last night we planted more flats out in the glass greenhouse, about 1000 green onions, 500+ leeks, 1 (72) Collards, 3 (72) Lettuce Blend, 2 (38) Cauliflower, 2 (38) Cabbage, a smattering of herbs. 4 flats of green onions, and 4 flats of broccoli were moved out into Casa Emmons, to make room, for we have toms to plant before saturday

I was thinking about you and your farm this week, when I toured some Nigerian small-scale farms to do a video for Oxfam. These farmers were award winners who have used what they have to try to make things better for themselves and their families.
