Just to let everyone know the truth: I removed the lighter from the Bird's pouch. It wasn't a malicious lighter removal, it was an innocent, oh, this lighter's not lighting and not replacing it removal. Instead, I put it in the door handle and that is where it stayed when I took the car back to work and left the Bird lighter-less so she could throw this LJ fit. Alas, though, I returned the blue lighter to its appropriate place in her pouch over the weekend and she forgave me for being a lighter pig.
