I itemized nearly everything in that trailer that made me ecstatic about the movie. And then Safari crashed because I was running Photoshop and I clicked pause/play in the Quicktime applet one too many times. Sonofabitch. I'm too pissed to retype it.

So... just know that I feel the same way.

1) Oh, god, Archangel. Oh, god. Oh, man.
2) It looks like we get a lot more character development and solid acting out of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine this time. That's nice, since his dialogue has always annoyed in me (in comics, cartoon and films) despite his overall badassery.
3) Phoenix. Phoenix. Phoenix.
4) I think I like the new title. You?
5) I love the way the scene with Magneto leading his army of rebel mutants across the bridge incites the cartoon's open sequence, where Magneto & Co. literally clashed with Xavier and the school.

Yeah, see, I knew you'd get the first version in an e-mail. But I deleted that and pasted it into a new comment, then edited it and added to it until it had more than doubled in length and depth.

As for the trailer, I'm not sure how excited for the movie it made me, but it does look good (Though, that is the objective of trailers, is it not?). And X2 WAS infinitely better than X1, so in that regard my expectations for X3 are incredibly high.

But I hate hate HATE the logo.
