That's sort of a absent minded realization - and then, of course, the girl realizes she's just opened the door to an occupied room, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but she's still not-quite-enemy territory.

[Raven quickly slams the journal shut as he realises that he's not alone. No he wasn't naked or anything. In sheer surprise he turns around, taking a moment before he recognises the girl in the doorway.]

Wait... Aren't ya that girl from the Hunting Blades? I didn't know you were in Luceti!

[... You know what, she doesn't want to know. Her hand is reaching for the weapon, ready to throw in case this gets ug- oh wait, that's not there anymore. And throwing it in the house wouldn't be a great idea.

[Nan will eventually come across Karol's room. It's currently empty, as Karol had just stepped out temporarily, but on the desk are various maps, diagrams, plans, etc., all very detailed and all strewn about. It's clear someone had just been working on them.]

[Oh... He's still doing that? Nan can't help but gravitate towards them, examining them with her usual critical stare.

At least she finally figured out which room was his for sure.]
