Very sweet and heartwarming so much love between the three.
I can visualize the portrait, would be awesome to see the real thing. In my mind, don't laugh yet, I see Shaun and Zach stand next to each other arms on each others waist, each holding their board with their free hand, Cody kneeling on his board his head between his two dads with an arm wrapped around one of the legs of both men. In the background the ocean glittering from the slowly descending sun casting a soft glow over the three boys. They look at each other smile, then back at the camera. Now you can lough.
Hugs

I love how you're envisioning the portrait. I'll bet everyone who reads the fic has a different portrait in mind. Isn't that awesome? Thanks for reading the fic.

Wonderful! I love how excited Zach got to create something for Shaun's Mom - and how Shaun knew enough to leave him alone to do it. :)

What a sweet Valentine's gift...both for Shaun's Mom and for us! Thanks for sharing.

Alice, why isn't my comment here? I wrote it and posted it today....Maybe you have two entries for this story? Oh...I hope so....

Dear BabyTammy-- Your comment is in this list above. Maybe somehow it got out of place, but it was real sweet and I would love to draw the picture for you the way I envision it. I just don't know how to draw something, then post it. You probably need a scanner which I don't have. Remember, I'm a techno-doofus! I can't even post on Shelter because I sometimes can't get the lj-cut to work. Hey -- where's YOUR Valentine's fic or poem? I was sure the holiday would inspire you. You write such absolutely great musings. Please share something with us.
Hope you're feeling good these days.

Oh babe, I'm not talking about that comment. I wrote a comment for your story. I think you posted twice this story, at least I see it twice in my friend-list, and my comment is the only one in the first entry...I promise....

Oh Alice, I'm not writer like you are....I can't write a thing...But thank you so much, friend. I prefer reading all your wonderful work.

(((hugs you so tight)))

Tammy.

You're right. I found your comment at the end of the second printing of the fic. I tried to post the fic to Shelter about fifteen times on Saturday, but I couldn't get the lj-cut to work. So, I just gave up. I didn't realize it printed THREE times in my journal! Well, mystery solved!
Now, as for your writing. Don't tell me you can't write. Did you forget that you wrote two short pieces several months back? And everybody told you how great they were? How poetic, emotional, sweet, deep? And how perfect the English was? I remember that, Tammy. You're AWESOME, girl. So, don't tell us you can't write. You are muy gifted! Love ya. Alice

This is so sweet! I love Zach's excitement as he gets creative. And his words to Shaun at the end are beautiful. Well done!
