Is it just me, or did anyone else have their little "gift" from a few weeks ago turn black? This little gem used to be as brilliant as mine [holds up her own crystal] but ever since the other day, it's been like this

It was pretty quiet for a while there, we should have expected this.

[It looks like Fang and Lightning aren't the only two who think alike. Apparently Somarium does as well. There's fumbling for a moment, before she grasp the now darkened crystal and holds it up for Fang to examine, which, surprise surprise, is in the shape of Snow's.]

Knowing this place and what we've been through already? I'd be more surprised if nothing happened.

I don't doubt it. In some ways this world makes itself obvious when something's up, but when it comes to figuring out what that "something" is, it's good at keeping secrets.

All I know is, things have been looking for the worse lately.

Has Somarium had anything drastic happen before to your knowledge? I only got here last month.

I haven't been here that long myself, though I've seen strange things happen. When I first came in, everyone was acting crazy.

Haven't seen anything like this before, though I've heard of the stories.

Nothing here happens without a reason. If this is their way of warning us of complications to come, then I say we take it.

So has something like this happened before? I've heard of a few tales, but this seems different.

Nothing like this, no. But I could tell you a few 'tales' about the barrier failing in the middle of a sandstorm. Or some second-hand encounters about the noctaere. Either way, when things start showing signs of disturbance, it's never a good thing.
