I love the lights seen through the wrought iron railings. Our temperatures have been similar, which is not normal for December. But we do frequently get freezing rain (sleet).

I wonder what will happen to all these frozen trees? I'd hate to see them broken :(

Some might break - or at least the thinner branches might break off. But trees are pretty hardy and by next winter you will look at them and never know where the damage was.

It's not really cold now. The temperature is about -6C (21F, I think). It's ideal conditions for making and throwing snowballs :)
