If you are under 18, you must have a parent signature to get an abortion.

No it's not. What would you do if your girlfriend got pregnant?
Are you ready to have a child? Doubt it.
Do you think at this age you can give it the best life possible? Probably not.
Until you grow a vagina, I don't think that's right for you to say.

there is always adoption.... if i didnt like my parents, is it right to shoot them? no, i would simply just go somewhere else.

abortion is not homicide. i wouldnt want to raise a kid that i couldnt support in a good environment and if you wanna tell me give it up for adoption i dont want to have my body go through that and me put through that stress and chance it if that baby even would get adopted or sit in a halfway house all of its life.

this world is already over-populated, and right then and there when i get an abortion its only a tiny cell.

a man will never tell me what to do with my own body.

i'll move to canada if i have to.

i totally agree with you renee.

I have been thinking about it since it was announced last night.
Not that I think I'm going to get pregnant.
But if it were to happen, I would not keep it. &The last thing I want to do is tell a parent about it.
I mean yes, at least they're giving us the right to still have an abortion.
But I think it sucks that in order for us to do so, we will all travel to another state, rather than tell our parents.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with an abortion.
It is your body, your decision.
Every girl who has posted to this agrees with me.
&I thank you for your opinion as well.

Once you can have a baby inside you for 9months &grow attatched to it, you try to give it away. Then we'll talk.

You can still be sexually active and mature at the same time, but sometimes situations arise that you can't help.

This new ammendment is only going to put more pressure on young girls who already have enough to worry about. Not all kids have it easy with their parents and some may be frightened of how their parents will react to the situation. So instead of getting an abortion, a girl will find other ways to get rid of the baby. Once a girl has made up her mind, she will find a way to act it out. The alternative method of abortion will not be so healthy, and the outcome will only be worse.

I'm more worried about what this will do to the lower class financially. Sure, there will be more workers in 20 years, but until then, it's gonna be harder on them. What kind of grandmother could sign for the abortion of her little girl's child, and what will she face as a result. This is just wrong for the law to do to families.
