This is the song that first gave me the idea for the fic, so of course the title had to come from it.
Don’t ask me why a song about finding yourself makes me think of kidnappings, I don’t know why…

This is the song playing during Ridge’s surgery.
Rob Thomas is one of my all time favorite musicians and I’m in love with the music video for this song (go watch it). The little girl in the bee costume in the video partly inspired the character of Lexie King (she’ll have a bigger part to play in the sequel).

I listened to this song a lot for the part where Nicole comes into the hospital with the bullet wound, the preceding surgery, and the death.
