My friend had her baby boy the other day, and he and she are doing well. She is the first in my groups of good friends to have a child, and it feels like a major rite of social passage for me. Kinda' like when friends started getting married. I'm very excited for her, and look forward to playing and garbing little Jareth. Hooray!

We were married on Nov. 6th.
St Nicholas feast day is celebrated in the Byzantine Church on Dec. 6th.
Theophany and the Boi's birthday is Jan. 6th.

Right now we are continuing the process of getting the house in order and making it ours. It's a fantastic blank canvas that has been left mostly to my aesthetic vision. yay! So, I have been basically incommunicado with the world this past first month of married life. For so many people I know this is a real time of change. Physical, spiritual, emotional, inter-personal, world-wide change is happening right now.
