I fucking tired of people telling me to suck it up! or that's how the world works, get over it!

I do suck it up. I keep a lot of things in. I let a lot of things slide. I am often told that I keep too much in and in the same breath I hear, suck it up!?!?

I am so not amuzed right now.

You sound very pissed off. I don't think you need to suck it up. Nobody thinks any of the people who've influenced the world in really powerful and good ways should have sucked it up. That's just silly talk. They are just afraid of the boat being rocked. Share your frustration!

That phrase just pisses the hell out of me. It seems to be so cold, totally devoid of any understanding or compassion. Instead of listening and symphasising it's so easy to just say "suck it up".
