you know, I'm sensing/hearing/feeling a return of a long absent friend--that is, **optimism**. Even the Bushies were never optimistic, they didn't express hope for a better future, a better nation or the progress of humanity. But in three words, you really capture, methinks, a national mood: It'll get done.
