Jan Berry, of the 60's surf duo Jan and Dean, passed on yesterday.I've been a big Jan and Dean fan for decades now. Although I had heard some of their songs in passing, it wasn't until the docudrama "Deadman's Curve" aired in the mid-70's that I became hooked on their music and story

Yeah. This has not been a very good couplah months for her. :-( I feel guilty now -- like I should've been the one to break the news to you. I just assumed (wrongly) that you'd heard before I did.

Yeah, this whole winter-into-spring has sucked for Our Sands.

Don't feel guilty, though-- I'm not all that plugged into the net these days (too much else taking up my time, darn it!), so that I heard within a day of it happening is pretty gosh darn good for me!
