Taken from peterjf

First single bought (by yourself, not bought for you)?
Sonny and Cher, "A Cowboy's Work Is Never Done"

First album bought?
The Partridge Family-- "Notebook"

Last single bought?
Does anyone buy singles any more? Think, think, think... I suppose the remixes of "Walking On Thin Ice"....

Last album bought?
Just bought "The Curse of Blondie" today!

First band seen live?
Jan and Dean, 1978

Last band seen live?
Erm, I guess that would have to be Jutta and the Hi Dukes, at the Pokey Oaks Silent Auction. A real band? Er, ah, crikey, if you don't count the sound-alike bands at Beatlefest, it would have to be the Wiggles!

Best live band?
I always enjoyed Shriekback live; also, Weird Al.

Worst live band?
INXS.

Five favourite genres?
60's Jangle Pop
Bubblegum
New Wave
Synthopop
Musical Comedy

Genre you hate?
Jazz, as a rule, does nothing for me.

Last song sung along to?
"There's No Living Without Your Loving"-- Peter and Gordon.

Best remix?
"Behind the Wheel"/"Route 66"-- Depeche Mode. (Fondly referred to by me as "Behind the Route 66")

Worst remix?
Most of Madonna's remixes really bite.

Best cover version?
"Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds"-- Elton John. Followed closely by the Bangles' "Hazy Shade of Winter."

Worst cover version?
Anne Murray's back-to-back versions of "Daydream Believer" and "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You."

First music related crush?
Keith Frickin' Partridge!!!!!!!!

Current music related crush?
I don't suppose Eric Ludlow counts??????

Collaboration you'd like to hear?
The Bangles and the Go Go's....

Best band from your home country?
Country? Er, would you kill me if I said The Monkees? Or, perhaps, the Bangles.
County? That would be the Cryan' Shames. Second place, although they're from Rockford (snicker snicker), is Cheap Trick.

Most embarrasing item in your music collection?
My entire collection would be considered embarrassing if owned by someone other than me.

Strangest thing in your music collection?
It's all strange and weird, baby.

Five songs to take the world on to -
"Go U Northwestern" The Northwestern University Marching Band
"Brand New Me" -- Partridge Family
"I'm Gonna Be Strong"-- Gene Pitney
"Don't Worry Baby"-- the Beach Boys
"I'm Gonna Try"-- the Monkees
