The second season of Quantum Leap will be out on DVD on October 26-- and at the same price as season one, although it's a helluva lot more episodes, including some of my faves, such as "What Price Gloria", "Catch a Falling Star" and "Another Mother." Perhaps I can get the husbandoid to buy it for me for an anniversary present....

Wow! I'm shocked and stunned that they didn't raise the price. That's bizarro (BIZARRO! BIZARRO!) but I'm not complaining considering everything. Now if only the mo-rons at Paramount would get a clue about the price of ST Franchise boxed sets. $115? No frickin way.

One can only hope that Paramont will see the light-- especially since Fox did with the X-Files....

But, yeah, I'm shocked and stunned, too, that the MSRP didn't rise for season 2.

Paramount and whoever is distro-ing the B5 DVDs (Warner Bros) not to mention Anchor Bay who are doing the Xena sets? It's just evil what they're charging by comparison to other things. It sorta makes sense with programs that have a lot music in them (i.e. Freaks & Geeks is spendy because they paid out for all the original music on the shows) but most scifi shows don't have a thousand different bands/writers to pay out to. I. Don't. Get. It.
