Here's the dress as well as the illumination I based it on. FYI the illumination is rom a calendar title "Les Trés Riches Heures du Duc de Berry" and dates from 1412-1416.

So It's like 4 am and I just finished backstiching the top edge of the guard on this dress. I'm quite pleased with it so I decided to share it with you all. I'm going to make a bright red long sleeved dress to wear under this as well as a pointy headdress type thing (I won't get into details unless you want me to). Hey look at what i did!
So i've been working on this one for about a week. It's a kirtle(or underdress if you will) made of fake linen because i can't afford 8 metres of real linen. It's all finished now except for the hem which i'm going to cheat on and not do by hand because that would take for freaking ever!
