A handful of shots including Owen Phyfe with Wolgemut, members of Sound and Fury (in their unofficial capacity this year), the Commedia show, the Poxy Boggards, and distant scenery of the mountains over the lake.
Bah! My husband and I had to skip this year but are looking forward to a family outing next year. We went when I was pregnant and again the next year when our son was about 10 months old but taking him at 20 months with a new 2 month old brother this year was just not going to work for us.
Next year for sure and if we start budgeting now and make a plan we can maybe go in something nicer than the ill-fitting cream and brown first-time using a sewing machine peasant clothes I'd made.

the mountain shots were/are part of a larger project - that trip also included time in disneyland, north county san diego, downtown san diego, lake arrowhead, the mohave, the sequoias, yellowstone, muir woods, and san francisco. a larger photo-essay on the variety that is california (and how you can go from desert to orange groves to the biggest trees on the planet in a mere 2 hours driving time) is in the works. :)
