The room was lit by dimmed lighting of the table lamp. The window was closed. Curtains covering the glass surface. Blocking any light from seeping in. Faint click heard and the door opened. Yunho stepped in. Still with socks on. Trying to make no sound. Approaching two figures on the bed.
"How was he?"
Jaejoong didn't move. Eyes looking down to the trembling body under the sheet. "Already eat and took his medicine. But his temperature is still high."
"Poor Moonbin-ah," Yunho sat on the other side of the bed. Caressing his son's hair. "I told him not to join the marathon. The weather has been very bad lately..."
"But you also know that nothing cannot stop him, right?" Jaejoong smiled at his husband. "He's just like you. Nothing could stop him from doing anything he wants. And he won it."
"My son," Yunho smiled along. "I'm so proud of him."
"Our son," Jaejoong squeezed Yunho's hand. "His smile on the podium... Resembles you."
"But his heart is just as soft as yours," Yunho's eyes sparked in love. "I'm so happy to take him as our son."
"I'm glad he's not feeling any shame of having us as his parents..."
"Sshhh," Yunho placed a finger upon Jaejoong's lips. "Don't say that, okay? He's our son and he accepts us. Nothing else matters."
Smile creeping up to Jaejoong's face. He lied down to the bed next to Moonbin. Yunho followed right after on the other side.
"When was the last time we sleep together like this?" Yunho chuckled. Adjusting his feet under the blanket. Snuggling them closer to Jaejoong's. The latter smiled. Their feet tangled together.
"Um, Moonbin's third grade? When his friend bullied him for still sleeping with us?"
Yunho covered his mouth to muffle a laugh, "Oh dear. Poor Moonbin-ah."
"But I miss this," Jaejoong pulled the blanket higher to cover all three bodies. "We will lull him to sleep and you will kiss him good night afterwards."
"Ah yeah," Yunho tauted his hand with Jaejoong upon his son's belly. "Mind to do encore?"
"Nope," Jaejoong propped his head on an elbow. "What song, hm?"
"Ah, that one. Wherever You Are, remember?"
"Okay," Jaejoong made a sound. Yunho kissed Moonbin good night on the cheek then they started to sing.

Morning came. Moonbin awake to a sight of two angels holding him close in their arms. Suddenly he felt better. The fever had gone, his throat was no longer sore and his head went light. He smiled.
His family might not perfect. Two men couldn't make a baby. He's definitely not his parents' genetic son.
But he's loved.
And he loved them.
Wasn't it all that mattered?
Leaning down to give his angels a morning kiss, he smiled. Hands pinching the two cheeks of his parents. Soft pinch of love.
"Appadeul, wake up. I'm hungry..."
