so saturday, joe and i got the roof on the chicken coop. go us. now we just have to get the door done, the windows installed, the chicken door done, the run done, and then paint it all cute and stuff and we're done! oh yeah... and get the chicks

That is really great. I was just talking about how hard it is to find a common worship place that doesn't feel fake or pushy. I also totally understand the "made to feel like an infant" scenario. Try telling a group of professionals that you are a pagan. Most people believe that is a phase you should grow out of in high school or something. :)

yeah, the "feeling like an infant" thing totally applies to any belief system if you happen to be surrounded by the opposite types of believers. no to mention that paganism has gotten a pretty bad name over the centuries and that it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing now that it did 500 or 1000 years ago.

Yeah no kidding. I was talking with Justin the other day as we drove through Portland and saw a beautiful church, "What if the pagans hadn't been slaughtered? I wonder what kind of worship buildings we would have."

what kind of church was it? Just curious. I have taught a bunch of classes at the Eastrose Unitarian church and it seems like an awesome place. :)

it's a non-denominational church called Journey Community Church. a friend at work invited us. where is eastrose?
