I once did something like that to several of my co-workers. Our client is in the office at 7am CST (their timezone), but most of my co-workers don't get to work until 7am PST (our timezone). We had a release the night before and I accidentally introduced a bug in the backend, meaning no one at the client even knew it existed, that sent an exception notice to key people in my group every time the client performed a fairly common action. By the time they got into the office to fix it three people had gotten several thousand notices. They were sort of amused, though. heh
