Nate, struggle is the only way we continue to grow. It would be easy for something to come along and take away all of our pains and sufferings, but that will not happen. That should not happen. We need to struggle to become stronger and eventually happier.

We all struggle. You're not alone. Keep your head up. You've done great in the past, and you will continue to do so. You'll make it.

Give me a call; I'll be in Chicago for the summer and dying to see you. Remember: Maturity's just another word for giving up. Don't give up.

Nate, I definitely know where you're coming from. I've been there, done that quite a lot lately. I've changed so much this year and I'm not sure if I like that or not yet. Just hang in there and I know you'll get through it. You have a lot of people who love you, never forget that. We're all here for you if you need us; all you gotta do is ask. Chin up kiddo. You'll be okay. Like the two people before me have said: don't give up.

Change is natural, and with it will always come new barriers and gaps. Don't worry. You'll find how you fit into everything. It just takes time.

I really enjoyed Songs for a New World by the way. I probably won't be back at NU until next fall, but I'll make sure to check and see if you're a part of any productions.
