It's the authors' fault for always making a point of mentioning Mark's relative size in every.single.story. to accomplish some pathetic slash cliché.

When I mention it, and granted I'm not every author, but when I mention it it's not to accomplish some "pathetic slash cliche". Honestly, I don't write much Mark/Roger - I enjoy it, but I tend to write Roger/April. I mention Mark being smaller because it's a physical characteristic.

*shrugs* Whatever, I really don't care - I think it's a hilarious secret. Aubrey and I were reading and cracking up. (Though the cane bit threw us, because she's only written Roger with a cane twice, and now we're wondering if other people have and we haven't seen it.)
