Adam recently posted a blog on his MySpace about some concerts he'll be doing this spring where he'll be performing, along with his own material, re-worked versions of classic showtunes. One of the songs he mentioned was "Maria" - most he meant the one from West Side Story, but a few fans thought he was referring to the one from The Sound Of Music. One particularly Photoshop-savvy fan was highly amused by this, and the rest is history.

I don't know what people's deal is with Joanne. Not all of the Broadway Joannes were big girls. I think Tracie did an awesome job. I do like what 39 says as well, though.

seriously. I mean, more power the ones that have been big girls, but there have been a ton of skinny joannes. just because the original was a big girl, that doesn't mean they all have to be.

#19 - I like the way you think (although personally, I think Raúl would be absolutely brilliant as Mark).
