I didn't get it at first either, but I'm pretty sure the arrows mean you're supposed to read it as "a coke diet," ie OMG CARY SHIELDS DOES COKE OMG.

Okay. First read through I thought it was meant to symbolize that Cary Shields was a sell out and a poison to Rent, like Diet Coke represented selling out in Maureen's protest. Your explination makes so much more sense.

#13 I always use Goodbye Love and Without You as my basis for critism, not Out Tonight. Oh, and Light My Candle. That's one of my favorites. But come to think of it...I don't think I've ever critized Rosario based on Out Tonight. Ever. 0.0

Me too. I didn't hate Rosario as Mimi, but I don't like her versions of "Goodbye Love" or "Without You". She sounds too flat and boring.
