First day of school! I feel like it's the first day at Columbia (because last semester was so bad and uninvolved I think it doesn't count.)

And that's that. First day, super excited. Can't wait.

There are days like yesterday and today in which I think something along the lines of "another long day..." Then, almost immediately, I think that it is because I'm going to my dream school and doing what I love, and I actually have a job that suddenly cooperating with me during this time when no one is hiring, and suddenly I don't mind doing it, ( Read more... )

Of all things to shake me from the news, it is the possibility that Starbucks will go bankrupt. Not to the point that they disappear but so that they close a lot of stores. Will my job be next? (Though, from what I'm told, we're starting to push Starbucks out of Chicago as it is.)

Wow... My week-long freelancing class is next week. Then a week off then the real semester begins. I'm so excited :)

EEEEEE! You have no idea how excited I am! Jenny is gonna be in Chicago for a few months and then Melissa is coming for a day or two. It's gonna be SO exciting! We're gonna go goth clubbing and everything. It's so exciting!

Actually... I think I know what the biggest change in me has become.
