It is so hard to separate what you think you want from what you really want.

I really think I got this wrong when I decided to do this.

Keep in mind that it's hard to adjust to a different lifestyle and environment at first. It takes time.. but if your feelings don't change that's ok. At least you tried it and realise that it wasn't your destiny.

Ashleigh! Use these feelings -- they are useful and not just a bother or a pain. You are there -- that's a fact. And you are there, in part, to study existentialism. These sort of feelings can only fuel you. Contextualize these realizations within an existentialism framework. There is something really happening inside yourself right now. It is not all bad! These feelings will fade soon, so use them while you can. Stay mighty, xo.

Ashleigh, I know just what you mean - I spent my first couple of months in London at school wishing I was at home and missing it so much. But it might not even be until you get back that you realise what an amazing time you had, and how much you connected with yourself. It's not that reassuring now, granted, but it's true! Let me know a good time to call you in the next couple of days, I would love to talk to you!!

XO

Jen
