RDA Panel Day 1

Sep 20, 2008 21:17

Well, here is day one of the RDA panels. These pics did not come out so well. I like to blame the lighting! ;) I had to turn the ISO up so there is quite a bit of noise and if he moved, the pics are a bit blurry. I included some of the blurry pics because he was just so damn cute in them ( Read more... )

ROFLMAO!

You got him mid-spew!

I LOVE it!

Mine didn't come out nearly as well as yours did. And I STILL need to finish uploading those.

Yes the spit take was awesome! Perfect timing. Didn't you go to Dragoncon right after? I'm sure you have a lot. It has taken me a week of working almost all my free time in getting these ready. And I still have the rest of the con! LOL

Yeah, I have GateCon AND DragonCon to get uploaded.

And one of my memory sticks from DragonCon got corrupted :-(

So I lost some of it.

Awwww, that's too bad. I LOST some pics. I'm not really sure how. I don't know if I lost the card or reformatted it and took pics over it. I'm still hoping that I will find a card somewhere! But. . . It wasn't really important. They were some of the bus tour and some from Banff. I would really like to have those from Banff because they were when I went out on the glacier. :(

Brilliant pictures! They're so clear and you've caught RDA perfectly in all of them, especially the exchange with the kid. Thanks for posting the link on Jackfic otherwise I would have missed them - I'm not good on checking LJs.

One question (and I hope I'm not being a total idiot), who is PW?

Thanks! I never check LJ either! I only go when someone recommends something! LOL

PW is Captain Paul Watson from Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Awesome pictures!! I was on volunteer shift during the first panel, and I didn't get any photos worth a crap. These are wonderful!

Thanks! For the first part I was using the EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, at some time I must have changed to the EF 70-200mm f/4L USM. Which is why they got clearer and closer!

The 28-135 IS is a great general walk around lens. The IS gives you another stop or two to make up for the speed (except, of course, for moving subjects). I've used mine a lot and is what I have on my camera most often. After seeing the difference in quality, I sorta wish they made an L in that range. But sorta glad they don't as I would be tempted to get it! LOL You have a Canon camera?
