Summary: Donghae tries to make a cake for a certain someone. . .
The kitchen was a mess. Stuff was spilled everywhere and it just looked messy. Donghae was at his 3rd attempt at making a cake. It was for his special hyungs birthday. He put the half-way filled pan into the oven, following the recipe once again. He let out a sigh.
"Please come out right this time. . ." He prayed as he started cleaning up the kitchen once more.
His hyungs birthday was tomorrow and he couldn’t wait. He didn’t know what to do while waiting for the cake to bake this time. The first time, he went to bug Eunhyuk. The second time he went and bugged Yesung, which resulted him to almost be thrown out of the dorm room. And now he was stuck with his only hyung who was busy in his room, doing god knows what.
"Maybe I should watch TV instead . . . I might slip something out. . ." Donghae told himself as he finished the kitchen and walked out to the living room. He sat down on the sofa and turned on the TV, flipping through the channels. The TV was boring so he couldn’t help but doze off, that was until. . .
"Donghaeeee" He heard a voice coming right next to him. He looked over to fine his special hyung looking at him with big cute eyes.
"Y-Yes hyung?" He questioned, a bit scared.
"You're not talking to your alien friends today. . . Why? Did they say something to piss you off??" Sungmin asked him in a bit of a worried tone.
"N-no! I was . . . just busy doing something all day. that’s all!" He re- assured his hyung.
"What were you doing all day?" Sungmin asked him as he leaned in closer, making Donghae a bit nervous.
"Um. . . making something. . ." He said in a small voice.
"I know you were baking a cake! I saw you. But I want to know why." Sungmin told him. "I was thinking that it was for your alien friends because they got mad at you, but since you said they weren’t mad, it makes me wonder why you started making it in the first place."
"Oh. . ." Donghae's secret plan was flushed down the toilet. He didn’t know what excuse to make up.
"Well? Who is it for?? Is it for a special girl? Or someone you like??" Sungmin questioned him.
"N-No!!! Its nothing like that!" Donghae said as blush formed over his cheeks.
"Come on Haee!! You can tell me!! Reallyyyyy!" Sungmin begged. He had a pout on his face and big eyes looking at Donghae, which made Donghaes heart melt. He wanted to kiss that pouting face now.
"Um err. . . its nothing." Donghae said as he looked away.
Sungmin literally got up off the sofa and sat on Donghaes lap. "Once the timer on the oven goes off the cake will be done and if you don’t get to it in time it will burn! And I’m not getting off of you until you tell me what the cake is for!" Sungmin told him.
Donghae felt really uncomfortable in the position they were in. Sungmins leg was on both sides of him and he couldn’t shift around without letting there members touch so he tries not to.
"Hyuuunggg, come on! The cake will be ready soon!!" Donghae exclaimed wanting Sungmin to get off, or else he might end up raping his hyung instead of getting the cake.
Sungmin only shook his head in a no. "Tell me who it’s for!!"
Donghae had it and couldn’t take it. He had no choice. "I-its f-for you . . . tomorrow . . . for your . . . birthday" He finally told him, in a small voice barley audible.
Sungmin heard though and had a smirk. "Silly Hae!! My birthday isn’t until New Years! It’s Christmas tomorrow" He told him as he giggled.
Donghaes face dropped. All that cake baking for nothing?
"But I’ll gladly accept it as a Christmas present!!" Sungmin exclaimed kissing Donghae lightly on the cheek before he got off him.
"I can’t wait till I see the cake tomorrow!" Sungmin exclaimed with a really cute smile before rushing off to his room.
At this Donghae was happy again. He heard the timer go off for the cake and immediately ran into the kitchen, getting the cake out with his oven mitts. And this time, the cake came out perfectly.
