I actually did one better - I saw it live in Stratford-upon-Avon. I did also see it on Boxing Day, and my brother put it on my computer for me so I can use it as a study resource.
I think the televised production lacked some of the brilliance of the live performance, but it was still excellent. Tennant's even better live than he is on camera, which was amazing :-D
Alas, we were too far back and high up. Leaping upon the stage would have involved death. We tried to go round and get our programmes signed, but we couldn't work out where to go until there was a huge great cheer...and by the time we got there there was this massive crowd and all we saw was a waving arm as he disappeared back inside.
