Okay, i gotta make this quick. Stupid internet cafe. So last i left off, there was the weekend trip to Bassai. Well, because we can pretty much see the temple from the top of the Altar of Zeus, we were able to hike to the location in about 3 hours. First, YAY ARVEY! Happy birthday! Get plenty drunk for me, alright? (As if I had to ask...)

Second, give everyone my best.

Third, um, enjoy Nauplio. I would recommend counting the stairs up to the fortress. You'll know which ones I mean. There's a great (supposedly) gelato shop in town, but that's entirely by report. Also, be sure to check out the Venetian stuff. It's all pretty cool. Mycenae is, as to be expected, amazing; Tiryns is okay; Epidauros was one one my favourite sites. I hope it's windy when you go.

Glad to hear you're doing well and that digging hasn't been a waste of time. :) Take care.
