Oh!! i was in the Airforce!! If you need to know anything about it just ask!!^^ It didn't work well w/ me, though. I made it 7 months. I think if they'd given me a different carrier choice, things would have gone down differently; perhaps I'd still be in. I joined because I wanted to get a head in life quickly. But I'm mentally week and couldn't stand though all the pressure. But I made it through boot camp, and that's supposed to be the toughest part. I'm sure you'll do just fine.
When are you leaving and what job did they give you?? You'll be going to Texas, Lackland AFB. It's hot most of the year out there.
I haven't joined yet...the recuiter told me that I had to be 18% body fat before he would even talk to me...though I think I made the mistake of calling him for info instead of coming in. Though, I didn't want to run the risk of accidentally making some kind of commitment. Right now I'm at about 26.5% which is down from the 33% I was at in January. If I keep at this rate...I should be close to 18% in 4 to 6 months, but I think I'm going to wait a year and really analyze my motives for joinning before I sign anything. I don't really know what I want to do there...I am pretty damn good at math and would just need to brush up a bit so that opens a lot of jobs, but I could also join a medical field which could help further my plan of going into forensics in some form of medical examiner capacity.
whatever you chose to do I'm here for you. I will always be proud of you and grateful you were there for me when shit got tough :) don't go all day with the what ifs. they will drive you up all the wall and you don't go anywhere.
