Kicking the habit...

I've been doing pretty good on limiting my soda intake. The withdrawals only really hurt when I first wake up and don't have a cup of coffee. I don't get as many headaches and I'm down to about 2 cans a day. Also, the increase in real fluids has given me a more energy.

I don't think I'll ever be able to totally give it up, but I think that I can keep it down or at least at moderation...
If I try to quit it completely, I'll end up slipping eventually and instead of just slipping once I'll probably end up just slipping back almost completely.

You're brave. I tried kicking the habit, and wound up with tons and tons of migraines. I don't drink as much as I used to, but I still drink way more than I should. It helps if there are other drinks available. I really love drinking water now, and I find that it tastes so different after quitting soda.

I do have 800 mg tablets of ibuprofen for that, but I'm trying not to rely on them.
