Wow, that mom does sound freaking insane. Most parents these days seem to be. I remember when I had to come early to work when I taught highschool to explain to a girl's mom why I didn't give her the bathroom pass after she threw a fit and called me words that aren't allowed on school campus. The principal was more udnerstanding, though, but the mom was still freakin nuts. "Well, she was on her period." was the excuse. Really? That's it? Period = I can act like I'm less than half my age and no one can say anything to me ( ... )

Ok, so I have been thinking about this in my off time for a bit because it really bugs me. Without the saying, its just a snake reference which is fine. With the saying, it makes it into something very anti-American and here`s why. The original flag had a rattlesnake with 13 coils of rattles for the 13 colonies--the snake has always reperesented America and the idea that we, the snake, will fight back if we need to. That@s the message as I understand it ( ... )

Thank you for your consideration of this image! I'm sorry that it has haunted you! LOL.
I think the thing that bothered me the most about it was the dollar signs... That didn't make too much sense to me, other than the fact that this person probably does not want to pay any increased taxes that Obama puts into place...
Everyone at the rally was there to support Glenn Beck... So... I'd say idiot.

Yeah, more than likely.

As foe the consideration--you`re welcome? I agree that its an extremely weird image. It made me want to go to grad school just so I would have an excuse to write academic papers about this sort of idiocy.
Perhaps one day I shall.

Its really sad that this guy is probably a college graduate who has a respectable job and can pay to put his kids through school (something my parents could never afford) but somehow in all of that he didn`t learn a damn thing about history or making himself sparse when he doesn`t know wtf he`s talking about. Grrrr. I can take people having different opinions and not liking the people I like, but when they mix metaphors and create psychotic inaccuracies, that`s when it makes me mad.

wah. Sorry for the length!

Um yeah, I have noooo idea what that poster is about ._o But then I rarely understand anything the right wing does, so I'm not surprised.

Argh, stupid parents! I want to smash them! Everyone blames the government's standardized testing and budget cuts and teachers surfing the internet and all that for the falling quality of schools, but a lot of parents really don't help things. They're so focused on their own special little genius and they think you should too. I had that problem a little in Japan with a couple of my younger students (luckily my youngest student was 14, so it didn't happen often), but really, the schools have basically more control over kids there than the parents do, so they avoid things like that for the most part. Argh. The stupidity of people is enough to make you want to just throw in the towel sometimes...

Yeah, the poster is pretty incoherent!
It's just really frustrating how parents don't discipline children, and then they get mad if the school has to/needs to/wants to. It's not Sebastien's job to make sure that all the kids remember that they have a quiz - it's his job to give the quiz and teach the kids. But, you know, if these parents want a generation of irresponsible nitwits, the whole country is going to hell anyway so it won't really matter! Yay! :(
