Aren't music games incredibly addictive?! Guitar Hero is just as good, when you want to expand your library. And your Rock Band controls will work with all the GH games (and vice versa) so you don't have to buy new equipment! These days I've been playing GH Metallica a lot, it's definitely good. My whole family really loves to play- we can even do some (REALLY EASY) Metallica stuff on Expert xD It doesn't hurt that my older brother was the drummer in a real band for years. Otherwise no one could play it xD

LOL! I never thought of pulling my family into the game. Maybe I should bring the equipment with me so that my parents can try it out... Somehow I think this can only end in tragedy, however (I have visions of my dad smashing things XD).

you really should especially since you were worried what you'd do with them alone during the holiday xD It's a great time killer. My mom is really good at it, and even though my dad TOTALLY sucks, he has a good time when he plays too (he plays on beginner and gets booed off the stage, lmao). And my dad has a crazy temper so I'm shocked he didn't throw the guitar out in the yard xD
