This is my first week back at work! So far, so good. I really love my coworkers. I don't think I've ever made so many friends at work before! Haha. It's amazing how well we click. ( blah blah blah )
sucks about the book thing. i went on a trip well i had 15 books out. owe the library $100 in fines.
i know what you mean with the having all older friends. a lot of mine are 23-27. my last boyfriend (if you can call it that) was 27 or 26. (i'm 18-almost 19- just so you know)
Dude, that's lame that they're going to make you pay the fee even though it's their own damn fault :\ That happened to me at TCU when I was a senior-- for my honors project I could keep books for the whole semester, supposedly, but then I suddenly got a nasty letter in my mailbox about how I owed 20 bucks in fees and if I didn't return the books they'd bill me for the total cost -_- WTF.
Happy almost birthday! :D I read that women who don't want wrinkles should start using wrinkle creams at 25, so you're just doing the smart thing. (I can't really use them personally: I have the skin of a 13-year-old. In other words, greasy and disgusting, so wrinkle creams just make it worse.) Most of my friends are older than me too, by a minimum of a year... I always blamed that on my ultra competitive nature though: if they're older I feel less inclined to compete.
Happy Early Birthday! I sent you a weird Mighty Boosh Christmas ecard because the stuff I will send you will definitely be there a bit late. In any case, Happy birthday!!
Your party sounds off the hook! Thanks to your glowing reviews, I've been watching Darkplace at work, where yesterday I got through Episodes 5 and 6...and I realized that I can recognize Noel Fielding based on how he stands when pretending to urinate. That is so not a useful skill to have...The point was really that I wish I could go to your party! Sounds wonderful. Hell yeah, Rockband and jello shots!
I also work better with older people. The only people I see outside of work are usually female students over the age of 30 who want to hang out to practice English, or Tomo who is nearly 30 himself.
I want MORE episodes of Darkplace... But, if you can, try to watch the Horrifica Illuminata - some of the extras from the DVD. It's basically just the interview parts, and a deconstruction of Darkplace by Garth Marenghi, Dean Learner, and Todd Rivers. It's a hoot!
