[Xion doesn't look much better than Axel does, at this point -- but at least she's not sick.]

Does anyone know what you're supposed to do to cure a cold? [Because she hasn't been letting Axel do much because he's sick, but she also doesn't really know what will help make him better.] Just...any kind of medicine, or some foods ( Read more... )

You don't wanna use just 'any kind' cuz some stuff people might be allergic to 'n stuff like that. D'ya got any tylenol or anything like that? Oh, also uh... Lots of fluids and bed rest.

[After some thinking, it's not too hard to get an idea of who the sick-ee is. Especially with how he sounded over the network not too long ago.] And... If you can, try and take their temperature to see how bad it is. Try and keep 'em warm with blankets too.

That's how it was when Xigbar disappeared. I went to wake him up months ago and he was just... Gone. He's back now but it was still pretty rough.

Orange juice, and soups and tea with green onions or ginger in it are good for when you're sick.

Soups with it, too. Green onions and ginger keep your body warmer so it's good for when you're sick. Rice porridge is good too, since it is easy to digest.

Usually when I get sick I drink lots of water and eat lots of soup. Rice porridge or leek soup.

[She laughs a little bit.] That's just Axel. [It took a lot of finagling and puppy eyes to get him to just sit down, shut up, and drink his darn tea.

But when Selphie asks how she is, Xion offers a quick smile.]

I'm fine. [She doesn't...really know Selphie all that well -- not well enough to admit that she's hurting and worried and very confused.] Don't worry.

Axel. [She says it easily, with a little laugh in her voice. Sure, she's taking care of him, and she doesn't want him to be up and doing anything but getting better, but it still feels like he's looking after her. It goes with that sense of security her best friends give her, and even if Roxas is gone, she still has Axel. And...even if she wouldn't say it aloud, it was definitely because Axel was taking care of her that she even slept the night before, let alone managed to pull herself mostly together for the day.]

He doesn't have to be doing anything more than just being around.
