Macaroni and I went on a walking adventure to check out a movie from the library and get some pub fare. On our adventure, we decided to check out Chances for neat junk. When I went to bed last night I thought of how lucky I am to have great friends in my life. I'm super glad that Becky answered my little plea for help, and even more glad that I get to write her big long e-mails (kind of like passing notes back in high school). I just submitted my first application for graduation (I have to submit two, one for each school). I decided that I'm going to have my middle initial on my degree. I can't have my full name because there are just too many letters and it'd look weird. That and I don't ever identify myself with more than my middle initial anyway ( Read more... ) -

Why is it that misplaced "quotations" are so disturbing? Something about misplaced quotations make me shudder. I'll never claim to have excellent grammar, but misused quotation marks always have and always will frustrate me. Granted, sometimes they can make ordinary signs hilarious, just like the "Elect Tom Collins" sign which made Kristin laugh ( Read more... ) -

It's nothing short of a Christmas miracle, I tell you! While I was at work today, walmart called Dad to tell him that my book was ready to be picked up. The photobook, that is. The one I made for Mum's 50th, which is today. It was supposed to take 2-3 weeks for delivery, and I only ordered it last Sunday. I thought for sure it wouldn't get ( Read more... ) -

My mouth is hurty and my head is hurty. I don't know why I'm getting headaches all of the sudden. But I do not enjoy them. Fortunately, the hurty mouth is not as constant as I feared it might become. But it's hurting enough that I'm glad my appointment is coming up so soon.

Touch
As I was lying in bed last night, I was surprised by how vividly I could recal the sensation of touch without having any tactile reminder. It surprised me because I have never really considered touch a strong sense. Granted, I understand it's importance in day to day life. Without touch it would be very difficult to function.
