Today, my first day off and completely to myself in a long time, I decided to actually go outside and enjoy the day (after I finished my homework). It's not Karma
...but it sure as hell serves me right. I was doing the discussion questions for my religion course this morning and as I go, I'm realizing that, had I bothered to do these earlier in the month, I would have gotten a better mark on my quiz and midterm. -Sigh.- I'll be good about readings and discussion questions for the rest of the semester ( Read more... ) -
Update
I guess I've been too caught up with life to update this thing. I've been working a lot at the Dairy and I've been doing a lot of work for my online courses (two of which end this week, YAY!), and then when I haven't been doing either of the former, I've been hanging out with Macaroni. I threw a dart and it ended up stuck in the duct. Macaroni laughed a lot. He said I couldn't do that again if I tried ("If you aimed at the duct, you might actually hit the dart board"). Frustrated, I threw my remaining dart at the board while standing three feet away. I missed. Macaroni collapsed laughing. -

I have been having a lot of nightmares lately. I woke up from three or four last night. They don't seem to be related to anything that has been going on in the day though. They're not terrors though. They cause me to wake up with a gasp, but I can still go back to sleep after them. They're horrible dreams though. Gorey and terrible. I wonder ( Read more... ) -

Warm Fuzzies
Today, I went on a fieldtrip with my grade fives (an all around super adorable class) to Duffin's Creek, a conservation area. The fieldtrip was survival themed. Students got to learn how to make A frame shelters, tie knotts, and build fires.
