Ohhh my gosh, break my heart. The last line especially was what did it for me. It reminds me of that exact moment where she stops leaning against the wall to move toward him saying "we didn't need saving". I've watched that scene over and over and as much as pulls at me, I can't look away, and you've expanded on it in a way that adds even more depth. I love this look from Juliet's perspective, well done!

Thank you so much! I just thought of all the places for her to finally confront him was almost at his most vulnerable state. Then I thought about what a contrast she was from what her vulnerable state used to be, like as a character she's had this huge arc of becoming this tough as nails need to not care because it hurts so much type character. Recognizing that if she could just break she'd be a wreck was like key to that scene and I wanted her to break so badly!
