This is incredible late but I really have to express my love for this series. I love how Renji and Kirihara just develops here and it's quite sweet seeing it now through Renji's eyes.<3 I'm still curious about the whole hate mail though, what went on Renji's head when he received them.

I'm also so sad for Niou (and also Yagyuu) in this too, especially when Niou was just crying to Renji.:(

Although I did tinker with the idea of having this fic go further chronologically (ie. a few years, including when Kirihara goes pro with tennis), I decided to keep it shorter and end where it did.

Poor Niou--he doesn't ever seem to get a break in this verse, does he? Maybe in future fics...

I adore this pairing in this universe. It's hands-down my favourite. I love the way you interweave the different stories here (the rape joke -- poor Niou!), partly because it highlights that this is the happiest ending (and I'm a sucker for happy endings).

OH MY GOSH. i have like, no words and yet a bajillion too many words that i could say about this fic series. i've been meaning to read this for like a month or so now, glad i finally did it :D YanaKiri is such an underloved pairing for Rikkai; so this made me super freaking happy :D i mean of course i love SanaYuki and Platinum Pair but i swear there are so few fics for what is apparently known as Kinky Pair :3

ANYWAYS. i seriously need to read the rest of this universe's fics. the whole half-of-Rikkai-turning-into-girls thing is so much lol and so much love at the same time XDD;;;;; poor Niou :P

This entire gender-switched series made me feel woobly inside, but this one in particular, touched my heart. Renji and Kirihara's relationship is perhaps the cutest thing ever. I was not a fan of Kirihara/Yanagi before, but this was heartwarming and cute and filled with difficult. I found Renji's denial of being a girl so very realistic and true to his character and Kirihara's determination to be the best was adorkable. Yukimura was really quite irritating, especially when he made comparisons to his own surgery, but I guess tennis is everything to him. As per usual, your gritty style holds up well, but this story kept me hooked even more because the details were slightly dimmed, even though they were completely present. I loved everything about this fiction, thanks so much for writing it.
