In case any of you are interested. My faves are A Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. We used to watch that every Christmas Eve at my grandmother's house. We loved it. I also simply adore White Christmas. Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, the costumes, the songs, the dance numbers. I can watch it over an over.
There are so many to choose from, it's hard to play favorites! I picked the Christmas Story and Rudolph because they are two I can watch over and over and still laugh and have my heartstrings tugged. But I really love a lot of your suggestions so much. I think we watch nearly all of them throughout December.
I can't fully express the ridiculous amounts of love I have for the Muppet Family Christmas. Muppet Show muppets, Sesame Street muppets and Fraggles all in one show?! "B is for bunk bed"?! The patch of ice they all slip on coming into the house?! I LOVE IT!
I love when Sprocket and Rolph are talking and when Sprocket is barking Rolph is actually saying "woof, woof" and "bark, bark". That cracks me up! I think in the version I have at home all of the snowman stuff was cut, so this was fun to watch!
