Rosemary and Eggplant

Tabby gave me a beautiful bonsai rosemary today. (Well, it came in the mail to us today- it was delivered to my neighbor yesterday.) It is a memorial tree for Princess. I am so touched. When Princess's ashes come I will feed the tree a bit of them ( Read more... )

I live in a very arrid hot climate (av 100F), which drops to bitter cold in the winter (av 20 to 30F). I have yet to kill a rosemarry plant. They put up with everything. Mine is on the west side of a hill and gets nearly to full brunt of the weather. It grows like a weed. I love them because nothing eats them. (Well, except me :)

We have a lot of heat but also humidity, which might be the killer. I do see rosemary outdoors around here, though, so I think it will survive.
