I thought I saw on a recent poll that John McCain was only like 5 points behind in NY and 8 in NJ. I'm not a number person so I can't remember exactly, but it was pretty close. Your vote may count more than you think.

I didn't see that poll, but I doubt (very highly) that McCain/Palin will win NY. I'm voting anyway. IMHO, I think they have a better chance in NJ.

Actually, a recent poll showed McCain was within 6 points of Obama in New York, so you might actually make a difference.
