Wow, that is an amazing piece of writing. I stumbled upon it by accident from your link on 43things. You have a talent for words, and it brought a warmth to my heart just reading them. So much I could say, so much I want to say but like you I am exhausted. I dont have an open ID and I'm not a live journal user but it's also not right I'm anonymous. My user id on 43things is Malc and only fair i tell you.
