Things that make me want to inflict serious bodily harm:

1. Bad public transportation etiquette, namely:

In New Zealand, standing on the RIGHT side of an escalator is just downright rude. We drive on the left hand side of the road, you see ;)

To the public transportation thing you might want to add "picking your nose" while on the tram. Must be a Dutch thing, I see it a lot.

It seems like no matter where you live in the world, the complete lack of public transportation etiquette is in full force. Most of the things you mentioned? They're the same things that irritate me to no end when I'm shuttling back and forth to the downtown core of Toronto.

But I'll tell you this...I agree about the nose-picking thing. I don't know what it is, but the lack of hygeine is pretty scary on the subway.
