My god, I like NEVER comment on fic, ever, but I felt I just had to. This is probably one of the best stories I've read in a long, long time.
It's so utterly heartbreaking and yet so...hopeful?
Gah, I don't know. I LOVE this pairing, and you wrote this story so beautifully.
Anyway, yeah. You're an awesome writer, can't wait to see more. :)

So. This fic caught my attention on the bandombigbang page, mostly because of the pairing. I love Brendon/Jon because it's ridiculously cute. That being said, I can't even explain the love I have for this story. It's so *heart*-touching and well-written, and I feel like everything was expressed so well.

And, uh, I'm the type of person that fast-forwards through the bad parts (read: embarrassing, heart-wrenching) in movies so I sort of skipped from after Brendon gives head to the Motion City Soundtrack guy until Pete sends Brendon home. I get really caught up in stories/movies/shows/whatever sometimes and I can't keep reading/watching, and that's really a testament to your writing because I got really into the story.

Now, the story wasn't without flaws because nothing's perfect. But I loved it. I thought it was amazing. I've read a shit-ton of fics in the 6-7 years I've been reading fanfiction, and I've been through many fandoms, but this is one of the most memorable stories I've ever read.

I can get that way too, with the whole fast-forwarding through bad parts, instead of fast-forwarding i just put the book down and walk away for a bit, haha.

And yeah, I'm pathetic. I'll skip it and then sometimes come back (but I can't bring myself to go back and read what happens to Brendon; I skimmed it and was like "NOPE MOVING ALONG HERE").

This was positively beautiful. Definitely a keeper. Throughout this whole thing (well, except when he was all happy with Jon) I wanted to just wrap Brendon in my arms and give him a big ol' bear hug and tell him he deserved a better life.
