I would definitely close the door on that one. I WOULD stop conversing with him because he's not going to stop.

I have this incredible prejudice against Japanese men for this very reason. Be very careful, Erika. Money is not as important as your peace of mind.

I somehow figured it would turn out like this. I couldn't imagine any other reason why a guy seeking an English conversation partner would drop so much money on me ;~;. But yeah, I doubt he's going to reply back and all, which leaves me with one very enthusiastic and not-as-creepy student. Even him once a week should be enough to cover any sort of extraneous expenses I might have.

Here's hoping he doesn't turn out to be skeevy either. At least he pays me the agreed amount. No more, no less.

Oh well, looks like I'm going to do that market research meeting for American and Canadian Expats in Harajuku this Sunday. Easy 10,000 yen for 2 hours of discussing what sort of packaging is appealing on an electric razor @_@
