It's a Grass/Fighting type with an attack stat that equals Machamp. The grass typing solves your rock/ground weakness, too. The only problem with it is, if you want Spore (100% sleep, which is half the reason Breloom is awesome), you're going to have to get a couple of Shroomish to 54 and breed them (not hard if you're lazy and leave them in daycare while running up a mudslide overnight).
Zapdos is a nice choice, too. It's good, but not really good. Shit like Dragonite and Garchomp have better stats.
Fuck, I never knew Breloom was half Fighting. I guessed Grass/Ground at first
Spore does sound like a good idea. My Crobat is actually my second one, as I had to get a Pokemon with Mean Look for the roaming legendaries, so I caught a fresh Golbat from Stark Mountain and gave him the Secret Power TM, which sometimes causes Sleep providing I use it in grass, but it's a little risky. Makes me regret using the Master Ball on fucking Giratina, but Dusk Balls seem to be coming in handy.
Garchomp looks pretty fucking awesome. I caught a Gabite in Victory Road, but never used him. I suppose I could always teach it Earthquake as I've had the TM sitting here since I first got Defog. Dragonite is pretty meh. I know they're good, but I've never thought much of them.
And mudsliding apparently doesn't work in Platinum, unless I'm doing it wrong. I left it on for a couple of hours this morning and the step counter had gone nowhere!
Apparently the warp tile things in the Ironworks do the job though.
