The Colt between 5x10 and 5x22?

Question: They used the Colt in 5x10, and I think Bobby tried to shoot Samifer with it in 5x22...but where was it between 5x10 and 5x22? They only seemed to use the knife then. Did they loose the Colt and the gun Bobby used in 5x22 was just a regular gun, or did they just prefer the knife?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

a lot of people have said they think the gun Bobby used in 5.22 was not the Cot but his gun. Hard to know.

Yeah, I noticed in 5x15 that Bobby's gun looked a lot like the colt, but wasn't. So maybe I was tricked, and they lost it when Lucifer flung Dean.
